Arnold Joseph Lawrence, Sr.

Arnold J. Lawrence, 88, of D'Iberville died Friday, August 22, 2008 in Biloxi. Arnold was a WWII Veteran in the Army where he was a Private. He was a lifelong resident of D'Iberville. Arnold was a fisherman where he worked the entire field of the seafood industry. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lillian Batia and Joseph C. Lawrence; son, Alven Keith; sisters, Velma (Johnny) McGinn, Vera (Ben) Rideout, brother, Kenneth Lawerence, and grandson, Joseph Carman Lawrence. Survivors include his loving wife of 57 years, Josephine Lawrence, daughter, Anita (Larry) Seymour, sons, Arnold Joseph Lawrence, Jr., Anthony Chris (Donna) Lawrence, Art Wayne (Michelle) Lawrence, brother, Edward Frank Lawrence, devoted niece and husband, Gloria and George Anglada, numerous other nieces and nephews, eleven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren. Graveside Services will be Monday, August 25, 2008, 10:00 a.m. at Biloxi National Cemetery. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes, Howard Avenue, Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
