Arthula Elwanda Cruse

Elwanda Fayard Cruse, 72, of Biloxi, MS died Sunday, July 8, 2007 in Biloxi. Ms. Cruse was born May 1, 1935 and was a lifelong of resident of Biloxi. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin L. Cruse, father, Walter Fayard, mother, Lily Fayard, three sisters, Henrietta Swanzy, Joyce Borries and Ruby Blaylock and a grandson, John Edmission. Survivors include daughters, Melvina Day and her husband Ronald, Shelley Casanova and her husband Joe, Lanee' Ouellette and her husband Mike, and Tara Cruse, two sons, Dudley Cruse and his wife Lori and Melvin Cruse Jr., two sisters, Christine Webb and Marie Creel. Survivors also include 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, many dear nieces and nephews. Family would like to express special thanks to Trinity Hospice, especially Malcolm, Jamie, Annie, Angela and Ginger. Visitation is on Wednesday, July 11, 2007 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Both will take place at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home.
