Arthur Leslie Lamey, Sr.

Mr. Arthur Leslie Lamey, Sr., (Bud Boy), age 94, of North Biloxi, MS., died Monday, September 22, 2008, in Ocean Springs. Mr. Lamey was a lifelong resident of Biloxi, MS., and was a retired fisherman, shrimper and oysterman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Leslie Lamey and Louisa Ross Lamey, four sisters, a granddaughter, and two wives, Alice Odeal Lamey and Eula Mae Lamey. Survivors include his wife, Mary Lamey of North Biloxi, MS., two daughters, Alice (Bob) Anderson of Gulfport, MS., and Cindy (Jimmy) McAnnally of North Biloxi, MS., a son, Arthur Leslie (Ona Louise) Lamey, of the Latimer Community, three stepdaughters, Cindy (Terry) Everett of Irvington, AL., Shirly Emerson of Bayou La Batre, AL., and Pam (Joey) Bosarge of Coden, AL., three stepsons, Jimmy (Elaine) Burt of Theodore, AL., Bobby (Angie) Burt of Irvington, AL., and Edgar (Sheila) Burt of Bayou La Batre, AL., eighteen grandchildren, twenty three great-grandchildren, ten great-great-grandchildren, fourteen step-grandchildren, twenty one step-great-grandchildren, a special brother-in-law, Walter Walker of Texas, a loving niece and nephew, Charles and Auerlia LeBatard of Biloxi, MS., and many other nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Thursday, September 25, 2008, from 5-8 PM, at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. On Friday, September 26, 2008, there will be a 12 Noon chapel service in the funeral home, where friends may call from 10 AM - 12 Noon. Burial will follow in the Biloxi City Cemetery.
