Avenel Faith Todd

Avenel Faith Todd, affectionately known as Miss Todd, Auntie Avi, Grandma, Todd-oh and Mom, from Jamaica, New York and Biloxi, MS, died on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 in Louisiana.

She was born in Jamaica, W.I. to Cyril Todd and Camera Lindsey-Todd. She attended Old Harbour Primary and Secondary schools. She loved crafts, cooking, flowers and tending to her grandchildren’s needs.

Miss Todd is survived by her children, Orette and Khrystyne; daughter-in-law, Deneka; grandchildren, Jaydah, Joshua, Syrah and Rylie; 8 surviving siblings: and a host of nieces and nephews, family friends and loved ones.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2024 the Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 675 Howard Avenue, Biloxi. Viewing starts at 12 pm and the service at 2 pm. She will be laid to rest in Jamaica W.I.

The family would like to thank the staff at the ICU at the Ocean Spring Hospital, the ICU at East Jefferson General Hospital in New Orleans and the entire staff at the Bradford-O’Keefe funeral for the wonderful care and patience in which they exhibited during the family’s time of need. We are truly grateful.
