Avis Jean Campbell

Mrs. Avis J. Campbell, 74, of Biloxi, MS, passed away, Saturday, October 30, 2010, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Campbell was born in Middlebrook, MO and had been a resident of the coast since 1998. She retired from nursing after working 34 years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and always put her family first. Mrs. Campbell was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Lana, sister and brother. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Don; two daughters, Charlotte and Theresa (Armin); one son, Lance (Tami); four sisters, Fran, Laura, Geneva and Wilma; three brothers, Ray, Bob and Jim; ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren. ?In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the American Heart Association, P. A memorial service will be held Thursday, November 4, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Pass Road, in Biloxi where friends may visit one hour before service time.
