Barbara A. Little

Barbara A. "B.J." Little, 50, of Gulfport, died Sunday, June 26, 2005 in Gulfport. Ms. Little was born on July 2, 1954. She was a native of Monroe, LA and has resided in Gulfport for 8 months with her daughter Donna Little and granddaughter Maurianna Ellis. Ms. Little was a thirteen year veteran of the Burger King Food Service Industry, security officer for Coca-Cola Bottling Company and currently a data entry clerk for J.P. Morgan Chase. Ms. Little was preceded in death by her mother, Gilda Jean Draughn and father, Maxie Marvin Draughn, and Uncle Joseph Draughn. She will now take her place beside her mother and father to watch over her. Survivors include her daughter, Donna Little, granddaughter, Maurianna Ellis, father from age 3 Willie Ray Draughn, two brothers and sister-in-laws, Dan & Marilyn Moore and Willie & Kim Draughn, one sister and brother-in-law, Raejeana & Perry Jeselink, two nieces, Christy Payne and Jenna Jeselink, four nephews, Michael Moore, Kayne Jeselink, Matthew and Justin Draughn, uncles and aunts, Acie & Lilian Reems, John & Martha Jordan, Robert and Hubert Draughn. Numerous adopted children and a host of great friends. Barbara's wishes were to be free of illness and to be able to visit all the places she wanted to see. She wished for all those survived by her to celebrate her new beginning as she begins her precious life after this earth. Remembering her in good times, smiling, joking, and as the ever so giving and loving person she was. There will be a casual gathering of family and friends at 1:00 PM, Saturday, July 2, 2005 at Calvary Baptist Church, Hwy 594, Monroe, LA. Orange Grove Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road, Gulfport in charge of arrangements.
