Barbara Ann Cuevas, 69, of Kiln, MS, died Saturday, June 18, 2011, in Kiln. Mrs. Cuevas was born in Pass Christian and remained a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast. She was employed with the ammunition plant in the Kiln for a number of years. She will be missed by her family and all who knew her as she was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Mrs. Cuevas was preceded in death by her husband, Donavon "Boss Man" Cuevas; sons, Donald Ray Cuevas and Donald Wayne Cuevas; mother, Elvenia Cuevas Necaise; father and step-mother, Frank and Ada Necaise; sisters, Viola Ladner, Elise Lee Necaise and Florentine Edwards; step-sister, Helen Ladner; twin brother, Bobby Joseph Necaise; and brothers, Marvin Necaise and J. C. Necaise. She is survived by her daughters, Annette (Brady Richard) Ellingson of Kiln, Velma (Marcel Bradosta) Whitfield of Slidell, LA, and Lisa (Kenneth) Saucier of Lizanna; four sons, Donavan Carl Cuevas, Delbert (Beverly) Cuevas, Terry Cuevas, and Berry (Tammy) Cuevas all of Kiln; sister, Verna Mae Ladner of Pass Christian; twelve grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Visitation is Tuesday, June 21, 2011 begins at 2 p.m. and lasts all night at the family home at 25111 Albert Cuevas Road, Kiln, MS 39556. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Wolf Creek Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Sand Hill Cemetery in Dedeaux. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road, in Gulfport is in charge of arrangements.
