Barbara Ann Mayer Decker was called home to eternal life with God on Monday evening, February 21, 2005. Her life of 60 years on this earth was a living example of what it means to be genuinely concerned for the needs of others, to bring joy and unexpected surprises into the life of her family and friends, and to be courageous and to persevere through suffering and difficult times, as well as good times, without losing faith.
