Barbara Ann (Milanak) Blahut

Barbara Ann (Milanak) Blahut, 65, of Biloxi, MS, and formerly of South Side, Pittsburgh and Eighty-Four, Pennsylvania, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2006. Family, Friends and the community mourn the loss of a vibrant spirit, beautiful woman and dedicated person. Barbara was owner and operator of Discount Linens and The Giftrim Shop, Washington, Pennsylvania, before retiring. She worked in her family run business for many years and acquired many friends by operating a Pennsylvania lottery business in her store. Barbara was also a graduate of South High School, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was blessed with an adoring and loving husband of 43 years, Andrew, and two loving and devoted daughters, Beth Ann Blahut of Biloxi, MS, and Angela Blahut-Neville and husband, Steven, of Biloxi, MS. Barbara was the daughter of the late Andrew "Charity" and the late Ann (Romanchak) Milanak; sister of the late Andrew "Nipper" Milanak, the late Marlene Oswald, Judith Gasbarro, Kenneth Milanak, and Bonnie Milanak, all of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; aunt to six nephews and two nieces, and a friend to more than can be counted. Memorial services to celebrate the life of Barbara will be held at a later date.
