Barbara Ann White, age 83, of Saucier, MS passed away peacefully February 29, 2024. Barbara was born in Gulfport, MS on February 6, 1941 and was a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast. She completed her undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of Southern Mississippi. Barbara was a beloved teacher in the Harrison County School district for 29 years. She had a generous spirit and a witty sense of humor. She was a loving wife, mother, and fabulous “Mimi” to her three granddaughters. She loved celebrating life with her many friends and family.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Alva and Jessie Mae Pritchard; husband, Rex White; sister, Thelma Gartman; brothers, Alva Pritchard Jr, Louis Jasper Pritchard, and Butch Pritchard; and by her sons, Wayne White and Robert White.

Survivors include her son, David White and his wife, Tari; and by her granddaughters, Kayli White, Sarah White, and Lilly Malone. 

Visitation will be Thursday, March 7, 2024, at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, O’Neal Road in Gulfport from 11:30 am until 12:00 pm followed by a funeral service at 12:00 p.m.  Interment will be at 1:30 pm at Biloxi National Cemetery.
