Barbara Tassin Brown

Barbara Tassin Brown, 80, passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2025 in Gulfport, MS.

Barbara was born on September 15, 1944, in Marksville, LA to Wess J. Tassin and Della Lacombe Tassin.

She received her GED and certificates in computer training courses. She was a Certified OSHA Special Government Employee (SGE). Barbara was employed at Charity Hospital in New Orleans, LA and Marathon Refinery in Garyville, LA. Her hobbies were bowling, fishing, camping, cruising, travel and eating out.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Sharon Louise Bordelon, Mary Ellen Robinson and Edmond Tassin.

She is survived by her spouse, Rick Brown; her children, Suezanne Smith, Angele Hay (Robert) and Nicole Tregre (Darren); her grandchildren, David Goldmintz, Jade Hayes, Raven Weber, Magen Bonvillian and Steven LeBlane; her great grandchildren, Hunter, Ashton, Jack, Henry, Declan, Finley and Fletcher and her siblings, Paula Jernigan and Gwen Coon; and her dog Missy and her cat Trouble.
