Barbara Dean Broussard Davis

Barbara Dean Broussard Davis, 82 years old, passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2018 in Picayune, MS. Barbara was born in Abbeville, LA and moved to Biloxi at an early age. She attended school in the Biloxi public school system. She went to work for Morgan & Lindsey on E. Beach Blvd. until J.J. Newberry opened in Edgewater Mall. Upon closing, Barbara went to work at J.C. Penney’s in Biloxi for 37 years. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Bivian Broussard and Wilda Marie Chatagrier Broussard; and her brother, Joseph Janara Broussard, Sr. She is survived by her son, Robert (Stacy) Broussard of Gulf Breeze, FL; 2 grandchildren, Jack Broussard of South Korea and Jessica Broussard of Pensacola, FL; her brothers, Glynn (Pat) Broussard of Biloxi, MS and James T. (Vicky) Broussard, Sr. of Ocean Springs, MS; and sister, Cecile Maxine Broussard of Gulfport, MS. Barbara also leaves several nieces and nephews. There will be a private family service at a later date. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
