Barbara Hunt

Mrs. Barbara A. Hunt, 62, of Biloxi, died Friday, July 15, 2005, in Gulfport. Mrs. Hunt was born in Port Redding, NJ and has been a resident of Biloxi for 26 years. She attended the Ramsay Methodist Church in Gulfport. Mrs. Hunt was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Margie Powell. Survivors include her loving husband of 44 years, Richard Hunt, of Biloxi; two daughters, Cheryll Arnold and her husband, Kirk, of Alburquerque, NM, and Christina Kinnear and her husband, Kris, of Tampa, FL; two sons, Richard, Jr. and his wife, Debbie, of Biloxi, and Kevin and his wife, Rose, of Gulfport; her mother of 55 years, Alice Powell, of Rochester, NY; three sisters, Sandra Niemiec of Woodbridge, NJ, Rona Cruz and Donna Piasecki both of Rochester, NY; two brothers, Herbert Powell of Atlantic City, NJ, and Robert Chichocky of Traverse City, MI; fourteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Barbara was retired from the Keesler AFB Exchange personnel office, where she worked from 1979 till 2003. She dearly loved her children and grandchildren. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority and had many hours of fun as a member of the Red Hat Society on the coast. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 19, 2005, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. at the Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi.
