Barbara Jean Saucier Quave, age 90, of Clinton, MS passed away on Monday, January 23, 2023.
Mrs. Quave was born in Gulfport and was a resident of Biloxi for many years before moving to Clinton 4 ½ years ago. Mrs. Quave was a devoted, caring caregiver to many during her life. She was a Baptist. Mrs. Quave was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW and past president of MOCA.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Judith Ann Thornton and her former husband, Sidney L. Bartlett.
Survivors include a daughter, Virginia Butler (Edwin) of Clinton; two sons, Daniel Vick Bartlett (Brenda) of Clinton and Sidney Freeman Bartlett of Biloxi; brother, Royce Derwood (Dorothy) of Saucier; seven grandchildren, Melissa Thomas (Eric), Michael Havard (Tina), Nate Butler, Jaelyn Butler, Courtney Bartlett, Rebecca Busby, and Ashley Adams (Moose); eight great-grandchildren, Ethan Thomas, Ian Thomas, Haelea Osborn (Aaron), Michael G. Havard, Jon Daniel Busby, Matthew Joseph Busby, Olivia Anne Busby and Kelly Simpkins; two great-great-grandchildren, Lettie Mae Osborn and Jackson David; and two nephews, and Henry and Durwood.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, O’Neal Road, Gulfport. Friends may visit one-hour prior to service. Interment will follow at Beulah Cemetery in Gulfport.
