Barbara May Warren

Barbara May Warren, age 85, passed away on September 12, 2024 in Gulfport, MS.

Mrs. Warren was born on April 30, 1939 in Thomasville, NC to parents Gladys Evelyn Brumfield and Charles Thomas Brumfield.

Barbara attended MS City Elementary School in Gulfport and graduated with the class of 1958 from Gulfport Highschool.

She was active in the United Methodist Women of Faith and received a mission recognition award and supported her church through various leadership roles.

She worked at the Gulfport Public Library for many years before retiring.

She loved fellowship with her beloved church family, visiting with friends, spoiling her grand/great grandchildren, and loving on her cat.

Barbara Warren is preceded in death by her parents; Gladys and Charles Brumfield and brother, John Hugh Brumfield (Jack).

She is survived by her sons; Benjamin Michael Warren, Richard Joseph Warren (Donna) , grandchildren; Jessica Renae Bennett (Spencer) and Taylor Jean Markham (Ian), great grandchildren; Andrew, Silas, Kelsey Bennett, Theodore and Ivy Markham, brother; Charles Thomas Brumfield II and her faithful cat, Sabrina.

Memorial services to be held Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Mississippi City United Methodist Church, Gulfport.

Visitation is Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Mississippi City United Methodist Church, Gulfport.
