Barbara J. Williams

Barbara J. Williams departed from this life to move onto the next and join hands with our Heavenly Father on April 12, 2012, at Ocean Springs Hospital. Barbara was a U.S. Army wife, a very devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was also a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church and a long-time resident of the City of Ocean Springs. She was loved very much and her presence will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband Everett L Williams. Survivors include her mother Anna Mae (Sarah) Lechner, her five children Donna Short, Everett Williams, Lisa Dement, Andrew Williams, and Douglas Williams, siblings June Skinner, Albert Lechner, Danny Lechner, and Linda (Susie) Saucier. Barbara was also proud to have 15 grandchildren, and 11 great- grandchildren. Visitation will be on Monday, April 16, 2012, from 10 am until 11 am, with an 11 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
