Bart William McPeek

Mr. Bart William McPeek, 42, of Biloxi, MS, died Friday, June 15, 2007, in Biloxi. He was born on October 22, 1964 in Kansas City, Missouri. Mr. McPeek graduated from Doyle High School in Knoxville, TN during 1982 and attended the University of Tennessee, graduating from ITT. He played electric bass in many bands in the 1980's and worked in New York and Los Angeles for Penthouse Magazine and movie productions. In 1996 he moved to the coast and worked for restaurants and casinos. Mr. McPeek was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hope and Cliff Williams of Waynesboro, MS, and Vardy and Polly McPeek of Kenvir, KY, and his uncle, S. A. "Buzz" Williams of Biloxi. Survivors include his parents, Owen and Beth McPeek of Biloxi; his brother, Cliff McPeek of Kentwood, LA, and his niece, Theda A. McPeek of Dunoon, Scotland. Memorial services will be announced by the family at a later date. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
