Belinda Balius Olsen

Belinda Balius Olsen, 51, of D'Iberville, MS, passed away on September 12, 2024. Born on January 16, 1973, Belinda was known for her kind spirit, warm heart, and the unwavering love she showed to everyone in her life. 

A devoted mother to her son, Cayden James Olsen, she cherished every moment watching him grow and excel in life. Belinda was also a beloved aunt, finding joy in spoiling her nieces and nephews with endless love and toys, always ensuring they felt special. 

Belinda's generosity and friendship touched many, and she will be remembered as someone who always had a big smile to share and a helping hand for those in need. She was a friend to all who knew her, spreading kindness wherever she went. 

Belinda is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Walter Beloso and Ina Beloso; and by her paternal grandparents, Donald Balius, Sr and Dorothy Balius.

Belinda is survived by her son, Cayden Olsen; her husband, James A. Olsen; as well as her mother, Barbara (Balius) Alexander and father, Donald G. Balius Jr. She is also survived by her sister, Donnette (Tony) Heggins; brother, Donald (Kristen) Balius III; many nieces and nephews; and her companion, Kelly Buchanan.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Harrison County Humane Society, reflecting Belinda's passion for all animals in need.

Funeral service will be held at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue in Biloxi on Monday, September 16, 2024 at 3:30 p.m. Friends are invited to visit from 2:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. Interment will follow at Biloxi City Cemetery.
