Bernard Phillip Rosado

Bernard Phillip Rosado passed away peacefully from this life the morning of September 16, 2021 after a gradual decline in health. He was surrounded by his loving family and caregivers the last days of his life. As a lifelong resident of Biloxi, Bernard’s 74 years were actively filled with many pleasures. Cooking topped his list whether he was at home preparing one of his signature dishes or the years he spent being a Chef for the MS Gulf Coast Coliseum. He really enjoyed cooking. He became employed at Ingalls as a Shipfitter and remained there until his retirement. Tennis was a passion for Bernard. Being such an amazing player created a high ranking for him on the tennis court. Family was a high priority for Bernard, humbly putting others needs before his own. Being a man of strong faith, he joined Our Mother of Sorrows at an early age. His pride was apparent as he served the Lord, from being an Alter Boy, to the commitment and devotion he gave to The Knights of Peter Claver and the Cursillo. Bernard served as Recording Secretary over 25 years in the Knights of Peter Claver. As a chef, he utilized his cooking skills to prepare his signature meals at many Cursillo banquets. There is so much to be missed in his absence. Bernard was preceded in death by his birth mother, Jessie Mae Bruno; by his parents, Christopher and Ruth Rosado; his brother, Ernest Rosado; and his two sons, Anthony Landers and Timothy Charles. Bernard is survived by his wife, Minister Priscilla Rosado; his daughters, Kedra White (Phillip) and LeShawn Ross (Erick), Sue Charles, Ariel Lampkin; his sons, Deandrelas Robinson, Allen Fairley, Jr, and Roderick Robinson; 45 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends. A visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Our Mother of Sorrow Catholic Church, 803 Division Street, Biloxi, MS. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Finley Cemetery, 19424 Hwy 53, Gulfport, MS. The family of Bernard Phillip Rosado would like to thank everyone for all the prayers, thoughts and deeds shared. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue in Biloxi, is honored to serve the family of Bernard Phillip Rosado.
