Bernice Rita Groue Letort

Mrs. Bernice Rita Groue Letort, 83, of Biloxi, MS, died Saturday, July 5, 2008, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Letort was a native and lifelong resident of North Biloxi and a lifelong member of Sacred Heart Catholic church where she was a member of the Altar Society. she was a loving mother and grandmother. Mrs. Letort was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas W. Letort; parents, Napoleon and Daisy Groue; sisters, Doris Broussard and Gloria Davis; and one brother, Warren Groue. Survivors include two daugthers, Marlene (Billy) Forehand and Peggy Fairley; son, Danny (Doretta) Letort; sister, Betty Dugan; seven grandchildren, Les Forehand, Melanie (Alan) French, Jeremy (Janet) Forehand, Dr. Derek (Mandy) Letort, Brian (Brandi) Letort, Rachel Fairley, and Beth (Jerry) Tapp; and six great grandchildren, Kyle Bennett, Jacob Bennett, Landon French, Aidan Tapp, Macey Forehand, and Lanie Forehand. Visitation is Tuesday, July 8, 2008, from 6 until 8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Rosary, at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, in Biloxi. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church where friends may visit one hour before service time. Interment will follow in D'Iberville Memorial Park
