Mrs. Bertha Battaya, 101, died Thursday, February 1, 2007 in Gulfport, MS. Mrs. Battaya was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Battaya, her son, Charles Battaya. She is survived by her brother, Authur "Bud" Lamey Sr.,(Mary) her niece, Alice Anderson of Gulfport and other nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday, February 4, 2007 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Services will be Sunday, February 4, 2007 .
