Bertha Page Cochran

Mrs. Bertha Mae Cochran, age 93, of Ocean Springs, MS passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2017. Ms. Bertha had been a resident of Ocean Springs for the past 80 years. She was a member of the Eastern Star, past president of the Ebony Club and a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in St. Martin. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, James W. Cochran Sr, parents, Reverend William S. Page and Idella Page and sister, Jesse P. Tellis. Survivors include four daughters, Gloria Jean (Charles) Manning, Catherine Latimore, Jessica (Chester) Blackmon and Marie A. Cochran, three sons, Donald L. Cochran, James W. Cochran Jr and Gerald S. Cochran, eighteen grandchildren, twenty six great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and a host of friends. Visitation will be on Monday, January 30, from 9 am until 10 am, with a 10 am chapel service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
