Bertha Mitchell

Mrs. Bertha Mitchell, 67, of Vancleave, MS, died Saturday, July 16, 2005, in Vancleave. Mrs. Mitchell was a native and lifelong resident of Vancleave. She was a homemaker and a member of the Vancleave Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her son, Billy Raymond Mitchell; parents, Joshua and Cola Bang and a siser, Nellie Overstreet. Survivors include her husband, Billy Mitchell of Vancleave; four daughters, Terry Breaux and her husband, Phil, of Vancleave, Cathy Mitchell of Ocean Springs, Betty Dunnam and her husband, Clint, of Vancleave and Ruby Mitchell of Vancleave; two sons, Tommy Mitchell and his wife, Candy, of Vancleave and Kenneth Mitchell and his wife, Cindy, of Vancleave; a special grandson, Greg Mitchell of Vancleave; numerous grand children and great grandchildren and a special friend, Melvin Forehand. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, July 20, 2005, at 2 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home Chapel in Ocean Springs, MS. In lieu of Flowers, the family prefers memorials be made to one's favorite charity.
