Bette Jane Brown

Bette Jane "Metz" Brown was born in Buffalo, New York and raised in Clarence Center, New York, to the late Harry E. Metz and Mabel M. Metz of Clarence Center New York. She was a Stay at Home Mother to her four boys for her entire life. She was a very loving, caring and compassionate Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Friend. She will be missed and loved by many. Bette Jane Metz Brown passed away on Saturday December 17, 2016 in Gulfport, MS at the age of 74. She is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Lloyd Ronald Brown. She is survived by her sister, Kathy Metz (Phil) Guss; her four sons, Ronnie Brown, Michael (Theresa) Brown, Robert (Rachel) Brown, Stephen (Kathy) Brown; four grandchildren, Brittany "Ladnier" Cornwell, Tyler Jemison, Anthony Migues, Samantha "Brown" Desporte; one great-grandchild, Adalynn Cornwell; and an extended family member, Laura Blair Brown. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens at 11:00 a.m., with a visitation at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
