Mrs. Bettiglynn Bingham, age 79, of Vancleave passed away on Monday, March 3, 2008 in Vancleave. Mrs. Betty Bingham, age 79, of Vancleave passed away on Monday, March 3, 2008, in Vancleave. Mrs. Bingham was a member of Phi Theta Kappa and received her Bachelors Degree and Masters in Education at the University of Southern Mississippi. She was a charter member of Singing River, Chapter #395 Order of the Easter Star and transferred membership to Pascagoula, Chapter #151. Betty taught at Gautier Elementary for twenty- two years and was a member of Jackson County Retired Teachers Association of Mississippi Retired Teachers. She was interested in traveling, bowling, theatre and the arts. Betty was a member of the Baptist Faith and had been baptized in the Cradle Roll Department of First Baptist Church in Cotton, California at two weeks old. She was known for having a sense of humor and always considered herself lucky with children. Mrs. Bingham was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Elsie Hardwick, her husband of thirty-five years, Nash Bingham, Jr. and her son-in-law, Fred Stabler. Survivors include her daughter Johnnye Stabler of Gautier and her children, Keith (Debra) Emery of Seaside, CA, Kelly J. ( Raymond) Haag of Rawlins, WY, and Kevin S. ( Cynthia) Emery of Gonzales, CA, and daughter, Susan (Gale) Iversen of Cheyenne, WY, and their daughter, Christy M. (William) McNulty of Cheyenne, WY; sister Margarett V. Fuller of Albuquerque, NM; brother, Jack N. (Lala) Hardwick, Jr.; ten great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2008, with an 11:00 a.m. Memorial Service at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105 or to Hospice of Light, 2012 Highway 90, ste. 29, Gautier, Mississippi, 39553, 228-497-2400.
