Betty A. Hughes

Betty A. Hughes, 60, of Tupelo died Saturday, June 30, 2012, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born in Biloxi on November 8, 1951, to Cleveland Tollie and Mildred Jeleusish Roberts. For over 30 years, she was a manager for Sodexo Food Service Company, where she was a dedicated employee. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, John Hough; and one sister; Teresa Knight. Survivors include her partner, Joe Shalley of Tupelo; one son, William Tollie Kidd and fiancee Treana Bonser of Modesto, California; and several neices and nephews. Celebration of Life Service will be 12:00 p.m. Thursday, July 5, 2012, at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home where friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will be in Biloxi City Cemetery.
