Betty "Jean" Davis Hall

Mrs. Betty "Jean" Hall, 73, of Biloxi, MS, died Saturday, March 15, 2008, in Gulfport. Mrs. Hall was born in Wayne County, MS and had been a resident of Biloxi for the past 58 years. She was an avid fisherman and a great southern cook who provided a wholesome environment for her family. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her parents, John and Demmie Davis, and a brother, J. D. Davis. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Elwin Hall of Biloxi; two daughters, Sarah Balster and her husband, Robert, of Colorado Springs, CO, and Shelia Hall of Biloxi; a son, Jon Hall and his wife, Julie, of Houston, TX; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 18, 2008, at 12:30 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Pass Road, in Biloxi where friends may visit one hour before service time. Interment will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, 417 Security Square, Gulfport, MS 39507.
