Mrs. Betty Lou Fountain was born February 9, 1933. She passed away Saturday, May 29, 2010, at her home in the St. Martin Community. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl W. Fountain, Sr., parents and sister, Kate. She is survived by her sister, Helen (Fran) Mosher, and her four children, Kenny, Sr. (Barbara), Gary (Becky), Carl, II (Nan) and Donna (Larry) Richards. She was a loving grandmother to her eight grandchildren, Christy, Nicholas, Kenny, II, Jeffrey, Sarah, Rachel, Tiffany and Matthew, and to her five great grandchildren. She leaves behind her loyal Dachsund companion, "Rusty". Mrs. Fountain was employed at Keesler AFB for 20 years. She served her community and church through Sacred Heart St. Vincent De Paul of D'Iberville. She was a former member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She had a strong passion for the New Orleans Saints and New York Yankees which was contagious to those closest to her. Above all else, she was a well loved mother and grandmother. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation to be made to Sacred Heart St. Vincent De Paul., 10446 Lemoyne Blvd., D'Iberville, MS 39540. The family wishes to extend their deepest appreciation to Dr. Motakhaveri and Camellia Home Health Care, as well as Nina DuBose for their loving care and concern. Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 2, 2010, at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 675 Howard Avenue, Biloxi, were friends may visit one hour before service time. Interment will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery.
