Betty Claire Seymour, 86, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2015 in Biloxi, MS.
She was a native and lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast. Betty was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was a former employee of Biloxi Regional Medical Center. Betty was a die-hard Atlanta Braves Fan. She enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her family.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin Raley, Sr. and Esther Raley; her siblings, Ben Raley, Jr., Adele Chronister, Elliott Raley, Mildred Leonardi, Dorothy Rendon, Donald Raley, Shannon Gibson, Bernard Raley and Georgette Raley; and her son-in-law, Louis Meaut, Jr.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Aubrey James Seymour, Sr.; five daughters, Karen (Bob) Yarbrough, Lou Ann Meaut Henderson, Kathy (Dean) Stringer, Yvonne Holland and Yvette (Ronnie) Monk; two sons, August Ray (Jeanie) Trapman and Aubrey J. “AJ” Seymour, Jr.; 15 grandchildren, Brittany Hentges, Kalli Mariakis, Chaise Seymour, Kasey McKee, Louis Meaut III, Brandon Monk, Cody Seymour, Rena Lee, Kyle Stringer, Karianne McKee, Cortney Holland, Stanley Trapman, Steven Trapman, Anna Allen, and Destinee Monk; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until the service. Burial will follow at Seymour Cemetery in Ocean Springs, MS.
