Betty Shoemaker Guthrie

Betty Shoemaker Guthrie, 76, of Biloxi, died Wednesday, December 7, 2011. She was a Native and lifelong resident of the Coast. She is preceded in death by her parents, Grant and Bertie(Redmond) Shoemaker. She is survived by her daughter, Glenda Lumpkin; two sons, Glenn Lumpkin (Teresa), Lonnie Scarborough (Lori); two sisters, Charlotte Scarborough (Charles), Dianne Davis (Billy); three brothers, James Shoemaker (Margie), Bobby Shoemaker (Sheila), George Shoemaker; six grandchildren, Ashley Campbell (Scotty), Katie Lumpkin, Brooke Scarborough (Matthew), Austin Scarborough, Shawn Paris, Kassidy Paris; one great grandchild, Hunter Seymour; a special niece, Cindy Redmond, along with many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m., friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. unitl service time. Interment will follow at Biloxi City Cemetery.
