Betty Maples Tyndall, age 68, of Vancleave, MS, passed away in her home on Saturday, October 29, 2016, surrounded by family and friends. Betty was a Godly woman of unwavering faith and is no doubt dancing with her Savior in a body free of pain and sorrow.
Betty was a lifelong resident of Vancleave. She was a loving mom, devoted wife, faithful friend and committed servant of the Lord. She loved cooking and serving her family, her church and the community. One of her greatest passions was her commitment to fervent intercessory prayer.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Virgie Lee and Frank Louis Maples, and siblings, Billie, Perry (Mason) and Cathy Maples.
Survivors include her loving and devoted husband of 47 years, Ransom (Randy) Mae Tyndall, Jr., her beloved children, LaRue (Chonne), Ransom (HardRock), III (Amanda) and Brian (Rebecca) Tyndall, as well as her cherised grandchildren, Nathan Frank, Evelyn Faith, Abigail Grace, Nora Grace, and Zachariah Aaron. Her surviving siblings include Frank (Sara) Maples, William (Sarah) Maples and Gladys (Thomas) Slade and numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Saturday, November 5, from 9:30 am until 10:45 am, with an 11 am chapel service, all at the Vancleave Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home on Jim Ramsey Road in Vancleave, with William Hancock officiating. Interment will follow at the family’s cemetery. Please feel free to dress casual.
