Betty Lee Wilson, age 86, of Vancleave, MS passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at her home. She was born January 9, 1935 to Jake and Minnie Overstreet. She married James Curtis Wilson on July 18, 1953 and they made their home in Vancleave, MS.
She loved her family dearly. She enjoyed fishing, playing PAC-MAN with her grandkids, and she played a mean game of Skip-Bo. When you visited you could count on a cup of coffee and a front porch visit.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James Curtis Wilson, her daughter Elva Mae Cunningham, and granddaughter Courtney Schnitzer.
Ms. Wilson is survived by her sons William Curtis (Tommie June) Wilson, John Willie (Helen) Wilson, Richard Dean (Kathe) Wilson. She is also survived by three sisters, JennieVee Carnley, Inez White, and Francis Hamilton, two brothers RV(Kit) Overstreet and Roscoe Overstreet, and an abundance of grandchildren, great- grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
There will be a graveside service at the Wilson Cemetery, Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at 11:00am. Due to the COVID pandemic, the family asks that everyone practice social distancing and mask wearing for the safety of all in attendance. The family wishes to thank everyone for the loving support and concern during this time of loss.
