Beverly Jeanne Davis Wade, 71, of Gulfport, was carried to Heaven in the arms of angels on Wednesday, September 15, 2010. She was born on September 28, 1938 in Union City, Indiana to the late Anderson and Edith Davis.
She was the youngest of ten children and is survived by Esther (Glen) Starbuck of Richmond, IN and Shirma Pence of Greenville, OH.
Beverly (BJ) lived in Gulfport since 1972. She is remembered as a decorative artist who worked in virtually any media. She is known for her beautifully painted magnolias and whimsically painted Santa Clause ornaments.
Beverly was the loving mother to 5 children. She is survived by Timothy (Brenne) Wade of Rochester Hills, MI, Mark (Sandy) Wade of Essex Junction, VT, Deborah (Frank) Taylor of Gulfport, MS, Donna (Rick) Stephens of Orlinda, TN and Kevin (Kathy) Wade of Mobile, AL.
Beverly's greatest joys were her seven grandchildren: Daniel, Eliot, Zachary, Melissa, Magan, Brett and Jessie.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 18, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road, Gulfport where friends may visit from 9:00 a.m. until the service. A graveside service will be held in Union City, IN at a later date.
