Beverly Gaughf Richard

Beverly Gaughf Richard, 74, of Ocean Springs, MS, passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2015 in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Richard was a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast and a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church since 1968. She was a gifted cook and loved to make decorative crafts. She is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Jerry Richard; her parents, George and Irene Gaughf; her sister, Mary Elizabeth Gaughf; her brother, George H. Gaughf, Jr.; her granddaughter; Lisa Sullivan; and her grandson, William Olier. Mrs. Richard’s survivors include her daughters, Diana (Luther) Holcomb and Phyllis (Johnny) Molbert; her son, Kenneth J. (Kim) Richard, Jr.; her grandchildren, Andrea Seward, Ashley Sullivan, Amanda Duplessy, Christina Olier, Michael Olier, Jeremy Olier, Katie Richard, Mitchel Richard and Spencer Richard; and eight great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church on Monday, December 21, 2015 at 2:00 pm. Friends may visit from 1:00 pm until mass time. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Gulfport. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
