Bill Copeland

Bill Copeland, 78, of Ocean Springs, MS died on Thursday, January 5, 2012. Mr. Copeland was a native of Sallisaw, OK area and had been a resident of the Gulf Coast for the past 14 years. He is also formerly of Kokomo, IN where he had lived for over 40 years. Mr. Copeland served in the US Navy on board the USS Mountrail during the Korean War. He later served as a mechanic and service manager for several GM Dealerships. Mr. Copeland owned and operated B & R Radiator Service for many years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Virgil Copeland and Mona Arcy Plant. Mr. Copeland is survived by his wife of 25 years, Judy Copeland of Ocean Springs; son, Richard Copeland; three step-children, Bret Langevin of Ocean Springs, Bart Langevin of Greentown, IN and Sherry (David) Raley of Maynardville, TN; sister, Kathy (Terry) Russell of Poplar Grove, AR; brother, Joe Eldon Copeland of Kokomo, IN; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Monday, January 9, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. Both will be held at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home. Interment will be in Biloxi National Cemetery with military honors.
