Billy George Pitalo

Billy George Pitalo, age 57, of Gulfport, died Tuesday, September 9, 2008 in Gulfport. He was born in Union, MS and had been a resident of the Coast for most of his life. He was a member of St. John Catholic Church, Gulfport and was a retired boat captain. He is survived by his parents, Nick and Zell Pitalo of Gulfport; three sisters, Theresa Ladner and Gloria Ballard, both of Gulfport and Patti Mollica of Birmingham, AL; and four brothers, Tim Pitalo of Gulfport, Wayne Pitalo of Long Beach, Donnie Pitalo of Orlando, FL, and John Nick Pitalo of Gulfport. The Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, September 12, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church, Gulfport where friends may visit from 9:30 a.m. until the service.
