Billy J. Griffin

Mr. Billy J. Griffin, 76, of Biloxi, MS, died Saturday, April 29, 2006, in Biloxi. Mr. Griffin was a native of Winston Salem, NC, and had been a resident of Biloxi since 1965. He was a U. S. Air Force Veteran of Korea and Vietnam and retired Master Sergeant. He was also retired from civil service at Keesler Air Force Base. He enjoyed working in his yard. Mr. Griffin was preceded in death by his son, Ernest K. Griffin; his parents, Huel L. and Ellie Mary Calloway Griffin; one sister, Mary Dot Nugent; two brothers, Pat Griffin and Jim Griffin, and one son-in-law, Wayne Troney. Survivors include his wife of 5o years, Louise Griffin; two daughters, Marlene Troney and Cassandra Creech and her husband, Scott; one son, Joel M. Griffin and his wife, Donna; three sistres, Peggy Brower, Jessie Milligan and Rosa Lee Lawrence; one brother, John Griffin; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 2, 2006, at 11 a.m. at the Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O'keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi where friends may visit from 9:30 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow in D'Iberville Memorial Park with full military honors.
