Billy Ray Bellande, Sr.

Billy Ray Bellande, Sr., 71, of Biloxi, MS died Wednesday, July 8, 2009 in Mobile, AL. Mr. Bellande was a native and life long resident of Biloxi. He was a member of the Biloxi VFW and Fleur de leis Society. He was also a US Navy Veteran of the Korean War and a retired boat captain and shrimper. Mr. Bellande is preceded in death by his wife, Ida Sue Bellande; sons, William Dennis Watford and Roy Alvin Watford; parents, Adam Eugene and Mary Walker Bellande; brother, William Bellande; sisters, Louise Grant, Jeanette Blanchard, Martha Lashbrook, and twin sister, Betty Faye Denning. He is survived by his daughters, Bettye Sue Scarbrough, Gayle (Mike) Jones, Janice (Billy) Park, Annette Bellande; son, Billy Bellande, Jr. and his son, Billy Ray, III.; daughter-in-law, Gina Bosch; grandchildren, Tina, Perry, Chris, Rodney, Kimmie, Jamie (Heath), James (Jennifer), Jordan, Jerrod, Jagger and Dawson; twelve great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be Friday, July 10, 2009 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Biloxi. Funeral Services will be on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at 11:00 am at the Lutheran Church of Good Shepherd, 2004 Pass Rd. Friends may visit from 10:00 am until service time.
