Blair Deal

Valerie Blair Deal of Gautier, MS went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ Thursday June 23, 2011 at her home after a four year battle with cancer. She was born June 24, 1985 in Pascagoula, MS to John Blair Deal and Beverly Ann Deal of Gautier, MS. Blair was a strong fighter, a devoted mother, and loving daughter, and a good friend. She will be missed greatly. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Joseph C. Jefferies and Bertha C. Jefferies. She is survived by a daughter Jayden Blair Deal of Gautier, MS; her parents John Blair Deal and Beverly Ann Deal of Gautier, MS; her fiancé Jeffrey Booker of Vancleave, MS; her paternal grandparents Donnie Davis and Joann Davis of Asheville, NC; an uncle Joseph M. Jefferies of Gulfport, MS; and an aunt and uncle Jacquie Penny and Kenneth Penny of Pensacola, Fl; and numerous other family members and friends. The family would like to thank everyone at Hospice of Light for their loving care, Dr. Brian Persings for never giving up, and Keith Ducharme of Oxy Pro for his words of faith and encouragement. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 28, 2011 from 6-7 pm with a memorial service at 7 pm at the Refuge Church, Singing River Mall Suite 1314 in Gautier, MS. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Jayden Deal’s scholarship fund at any branch of Navigator Credit Union. Identify the account as “John Deal, For Jayden College Fund”.
