Blanche Ciotta

Blanche Ciotta, age, 93, of Saucier, died Saturday, March 6, 2010 in Saucier. She was born in Wellston, OH and was a longtime resident of the Gulf Coast. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Lou Evans; two sons, Donald Lee Russell, Daniel Dean Russell; and two brothers, Floyd Walton and Ed Walton. Mrs. Ciotta is survived by five daughters, Garnet Wehrmann of Manassa, VA, Sadie Lucas of Carrolton, OH, Blanche Holston of Saucier, MS, Pamela Sullivan of Gulfport, and Kathy Courtney of Byram; two sisters, Garnet Bilyi of Cumberland, Md and Sadie Scott of Flinston, MD; nineteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren, ten great-great-grandchildren; and sixty-five foster children. The family extends special thanks to Canon Hospice aides, and nurses and to Janice Golf for their loving care of their mother. The funeral service will be Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at 1:00 pm at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road, Gulfport where friends may visit from 12 noon until the service.
