Bobbie Jean Dimitry

Mrs. Bobbie Jean Parrette Dimitry, age 80, of Pascagoula, MS passed away on April 25, 2022 in Moss Point, MS.

Bobbie Jean was born on December 1, 1941 in Hazelhurst, MS. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

Bobbie Jean is preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Essie Parrette; her loving husband, Alexander Dimitry, Jr.; her son, Michael Dimitry; and by her siblings, Nell Alford, Earline Meredith, Marie McInnis, Frances Alley, Sybil Sinicropi, Buddy Parrette and Richard Alawine.

Survivors include her children, Glenda Farragut (Rick), Alexander Dimitry III (Cheryl) and Rhonda Guzman (Simon); grandchildren, Michael Farragut, Amy Tapper, Meagan Albritton (Joe), Shane Dimitry (Amber), Ryan Dimitry, Christine Guzman, Matthew Guzman, and Brooke Russell (Chance); great grandchildren, Jacob Jones, Kaylee Tapper, Timmy Tapper, Madison Dimitry, Ethan Dimitry, Riley Albritton, Bailey Albritton, Kendall Russell, and Bexley Mae Dimitry who will be arriving in September; sister, Nancy Chisesi; and by her beloved dog Lola, that she rescued several years ago and was such a joy to Bobbie Jean.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to We Care Hospice for their care and compassion.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 29, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue in Biloxi. Friends may visit one hour prior. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
