Bobbie Jeslyon Horton Williams, 85, of St. Martin, MS passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2013 with her family by her side. She was born February 19, 1928, in Madden, MS to William Earl and Artie Horton.
Bobbie and her husband, Mack Williams, moved to Ocean Springs, MS where they opened the family business, Williams Air Conditioning. She stayed home to raise her sons Ricky and Robby, then later her granddaughter Christy.
She was not only a wonderful mother, sister, and wife but she was also a best friend that the family could always turn to. She carried everyone’s pain on her shoulders to lift the weight off of their own because she always knew what was best for them. She will be dearly missed, but we know that God has saved a royal place for her in heaven.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Mack Williams; her brother, Ray Horton; and her son, Richard Earl Williams.
She is survived by her sister, Annette Horton Craft; her brother, John Horton; her son, Robert Mack Williams; grandchildren, Christina Williams Woodall, Robert Mack Williams II, Joseph Scott Williams, and Richelle Ann Williams; great grandchildren, Mackenzie Woodall, Gavin Williams, and Ella Dodson; and step-grandchildren, Earl Ray Brown and Samantha Brown.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 27, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with an 11:15 a.m. funeral service on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
