Bobby Gene King

Mr. Bobby G. King, age 76, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Tuesday, March 18, 2008, in Ocean Springs. Mr. King was a longtime resident of the community since 1978. He owned and operated King Charter Service. He retired from the Greyhound Bus Lines after 30 accident free years. Mr. King was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Dr. Virginia King, MD., and brothers, James King, Jansen King, and Joe Frank King. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Charlene Broussard King of Ocean Springs, MS., two daughters, Kimberly (Mark) Miller, also of Ocean Springs, MS., and Charynne "Bug" King (Wendell) Fugitt of Hattiesburg, MS., a son, Micah King of Ocean Springs, MS., two sisters, Gladys Rittenburg and Sue Munn, both of Ozark, AL., two brothers, William King and Jackie King, both of Newton, AL., and three grandchildren, Chelsea King, Janson King and Victoria Miller. Visitation will be on Friday, March 21, 2008, from 5-8 PM, with an 8 PM chapel service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pinckard Cemetery in Pinckard, Alabama. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations be made to the American Diabetes Association, #16 Northtown Drive, Suite 100, Jackson, MS., 39211, or to ones' charity of choice.
