Bobbye Nell Tupper

Bobbye Nell Tupper, age 73, died on Saturday, March 15, 2014. She lived on the Mississippi Gulf Coast for the last 47 years and was active in Springhill Baptist Church. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary #1992 in Gautier, VFW Auxiliary #2434 in Biloxi, the Red Hatters, and the Jackson County Retired Nurses Association. Bobbye retired from Ocean Springs Hospital and was a loving wife and mother who will be missed by family and friends alike. She was preceded in death by her parents, W.M. Welch and Inez Marriott and a grandson, Jacob Skinner. Bobbye is survived by her husband of 47 years, Howard Tupper; daughters, Donna Sue (John) Chambers of Wichita Falls, TX, and Leslie DeNell Skinner (Howard Burke) of Gainesville, TX; sisters, Sylvia Jordan of Amarillo, TX and Katheryn Mondo of Ft. Myers, FL; brothers, Carrol Marriott of Texas and Don Welch of Austin, TX; three grandchildren, Scotty and Rebecca Kyle and Katherine Skinner and 6 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, where friends may visit 2 hours prior to the service.
