Bonnie B. Ladner, age 84, of Gulfport, died Tuesday, May 4, 2010 in Gulfport. She was born in Smith Co., MS and was a longtime resident of Gulfport and a member of St. John's Catholic Church. Mrs. Ladner was a retired registered nurse with the Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic in Gulfport and was a volunteer at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport where she accumulated in excess of 7,000 hours of volunteer work.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Ladner; a daughter-in-law, Terri Ladner; two brothers, J. C. Buckley and Truman Buckley; and her parents, William Foster and Georgia Keyes Buckley.
Mrs. Ladner is survived by a daughter, Patsy Hughes (Michael) of Huntsville, AL; a son, Larry Ladner of Gulfport; three grandchildren, Jeff Hughes, Melissa Ladner, and Kyle Ladner; nieces JoAnn Benison and Donna Buckley and numerous other nieces and nephews and also many in-laws.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, May 7, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at St. John's Catholic Church, Gulfport where friends may visit from 12 noon until the service. Interment will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Gulfport.
