Bonnie Morgan Pitts

Mrs. Bonnie Morgan Pitts, 81, of Pearl, MS, died Sunday, February 12, 2012, in Pearl. Mrs. Pitts was born in Hattiesburg, MS. She was a former resident of Gulfport for 31 years and had lived in Pearl for the past 23 years.She was a homemaker and a member of Bibleway Baptist Church in D'Iberville. She enjoyed painting, writing poems and bird watching. Mrs. Pitts was preceded in death by her former husband, the late Ralph ;Morgan; parents, Edward and Ruby Pearl Bryant Clinton; and a sister, Dorothy Morgan. She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Norbon R. Pitts of Pearl; two daughters, Sybil (Bob) Vercher of Woolmarket, and Diane (Philipp) Lawrence of Pearl; three sons, Hasty (Leticia) Morgan and Clay (Debbie) Morgan of D'Iberville, and Gerald (Emma) Morgan of Arizona; five sisters, two brothers, nineteen grandchildren, twenty five great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 12:00 noon Wednesday, February 15, 2012, at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, in Biloxi where friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Bibleway Baptist Church Cemetery.
