Bonnie Lee Senseney

Bonnie Lee Senseney, 71, of Ocean Springs, entered into the Kingdom of Heaven on Saturday, December 3, 2022, surrounded by beloved family and friends.

Bonnie was born November 10, 1951, to Blake and Oral Mae Senseney of Ocean Springs. She attended Ocean Springs High School and was a lifelong resident of Ocean Springs.

The simplest pleasures in life brought the greatest joy to Bonnie. She loved spending time with her family, going to church, and helping others in any way that she could. She had an uncanny ability to find happiness in her daily activities and strived to make others happy as well. For many years she was the smile behind the register that greeted the customers at Senseney’s Port-O-Call Restaurant, and for over 23 years she was the adored and invaluable coworker at Digestive Health Center in Ocean Springs. Her pleasant personality was contagious to everyone she met, and to know her was to love her. She loved unconditionally, and she was loved by many. Her selfless giving and generosity earned her the nickname of “Aunt Bonnie Claus” and she was so proud of it.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Anthony B. Senseney, Sr. of Ocean Springs; and brothers Blake Senseney of Vancleave, Rodney Senseney, Sr., of Ocean Springs, and Rocky Senseney of Ocean Springs.

She is survived by her sisters, Susan Senseney of Biloxi, Lisa (David) Malley of Gulfport, Holli Senseney Tebor of Gulfport; brothers, Blaise Senseney of Ocean Springs, Kerry (Stacey) Senseney of Ocean Springs, Shawn (Shannon) Senseney of Ocean Springs; her aunt, Inez Senseney of McHenry; and devoted family friend, Rosemarie Vanacore of Biloxi. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews whom she cherished immensely, cousins, family, friends, and loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2022, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs.

On Friday, December 9, 2022, a funeral procession will leave Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs at 11:30 AM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:00 PM at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Interment will be at Bellande Cemetery.
