Bonnie Sue Cooley

Bonnie Sue Cooley, 83, of Latimer died Tuesday, May 10, 2011 in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Cooley had been a member of Woodhaven Baptist Church since 1987 and retired from Keesler AFB in 1989 after 25 years of civilian service. Mrs. Cooley is preceded in death by her parents William W. and Mattie Crosby; her sister Bernice Epperson; and her brothers Breman Crosby, Buell Crosby, and Berlin Crosby. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Reverend Burl E. Cooley; her sons Ronald B. (Leslie) Cooley and Randy (An’gel) Cooley; a daughter Sharon Cooley (Pete) Christman; her sister Bertine McDonald; grandsons Jason B. Cooley and Travis Cooley; granddaughters Jennifer Cooley and Veronica Cooley; step-granddaughters, Lauren Blakely and Allison McKenzie, and step-grandson Michael McKenzie. Visitation will be held Friday, May 13, 2011 from 6 pm until 8 pm at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Porter Avenue in Ocean Springs. Services will be Saturday, May 14, 2011 at 10 am in the funeral home chapel where friends may call from 9 am until the service. Interment will be in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
