Brenda Sue Champagne

Brenda Sue Champagne, age 80, of Long Beach, passed away on Friday, June 28, 2024.

Brenda was born on May 16, 1944 in Crosby, MS to William Howard McCurley and Helen Eugine Simpkins McCurley. She was a long-time resident of Baton Rouge, LA and was a resident of the MS Gulf Coast for 7 years. Brenda retired from the Office of Attorney General, State of Louisiana, and was a member of the Catholic Church.

Brenda was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Bueche.

Survivors include her husband, Hanley Carl Champagne of Long Beach; daughter, Renee Rodriguez of Long Beach; and sisters, Wanda Gunderson and Cathy Kirby.

A private service will be held at a later date. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport is honored to serve the Champagne family.
