Brenda Joyce Cracchiolo

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Brenda Joyce Cracchiolo, 62, announces her beautiful soul passed from this world on June 7. She died peacefully at her home in Gulfport surrounded by loved ones. A longtime resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast and a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, her entire life was selflessly dedicated to her family. Her love and devotion for her children and grandchildren were her happiness, and her legacy will be carried on through them. She was preceded in death by her parents William Thomas Smith and Helen Irene Smith (Harrison) and siblings Dudley Smith, Jerry Smith and Betty Brown. She is survived by three brothers and four sisters and will be fondly remembered by her son Robert P. Cracchiolo and his wife, Angie of Everett, WA; daughter Mary Cracchiolo-Spain, and her husband Mark of Gulfport, MS; and three loving grandchildren, Alex, Michael and Logan. The family would like to thank Memorial Hospital Hospice and close friends for their love and support. Memorial Services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 14 at the beachfront Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home on 15th Street in Gulfport. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m.-3 p.m. at the funeral home.
